How GavelScope uses AI

AI-generated outputs
GavelScope uses generative AI for bill relevance scores and explanations, summaries, Morning Briefs, Friday Reports, news summaries, legislator and stakeholder profiles, hearing analysis, predictions, and other model estimates. These outputs must be presented with a visible AI label and source citations. Predictive content is also labeled as a model estimate. The general notice at the top of the application has been removed because the disclosure travels with each AI output and remains available through this permanent policy and the footer link.
Human review
An AI label does not mean a human approved the output. Where a workflow records analyst approval, the interface may additionally say that human review is recorded. Otherwise, treat the output as unreviewed. GavelScope and Field & Forge Ventures remain responsible for content they publish.
Limitations
AI can be wrong, omit context, or misread a source. Always verify bill status, votes, hearings, filings, and legal text against the linked official source. GavelScope is not legal advice or an official government record.
